As soon as we pulled up, I knew, today was going to be a perfect day for a wedding! The owners of this beautiful home, Pam and Todd, were not only gracious enough to open up their home for the wedding but spent that morning preparing for everyones arrival. Pam helped make the centerpieces (from leaves she cut from her very own trees!) while Todd spread mulch and cleaned up the yard. I could never say enough about these two, they are just great people. Thank you both for being so kind and courteous!
Samantha and Chad, what a wonderful couple. They have that infectious kind of love. The kind that makes you want to do great things by just being around them! I first met Sam and number of years ago and through her sister, we kept in touch. I was thrilled when her and Chad got engaged and even more so when she asked us to be her photographers! I love when a bride becomes a friend but even more so when a friend becomes a bride!
This was the ideal DIY wedding and Sam is the ideal DIY bride. She had her hand in everything from the hand wrapped bridesmaids flowers to the hand painted signs. The decore was filled with autumn colors and touches of fall where everywhere. Simple and beautiful! I hope that you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them! Time to start getting ready! Hair and makeup was done by the wonderful ladies from Karisma Salon! No turning back (pun intended)! Chad helps his two sons (his oldest was the best man!) put on the final touches before the walk down the isle! Samantha wanted to do a First Look with her father. I LOVE the expression that James was able to capture! There is nothing sweeter than a father crying tears of joy for his little girl on her wedding day. You may kiss the bride! Laughter, tears of joy, dancing, and more. This was a reception I'm sure they will remember for years to come! Loving moments between Sam and her dad just kept happening in front of my camera! L.O.V.E Justin with Uptown Entertainment on the one's and two's , getting the party started right! Special thanks to all the amazing vendors: Rachel with I Do Weddings for being an amazing wedding planner, Valentin Occasions for the gorgeous flower arrangements, Tip Top Cake Shop for the beautiful and delicious cake, the ladies of Karisma Salon for hair and makeup, Justin with Uptown Entertainment for keeping the party going at the reception, and of course Pam and Todd for opening their beautiful home! As always, please leave some love in my comment box!
